Donald Trump Nominates Neil Gorsuch For Supreme Court

President Trump is trying to keep one of his top campaign promises by nominated Judge Neil Gorsuch for Supreme Court. The 49 year old judge  is a fast pace conservative  Trump picks to replace former Justice Scalia.  The democrats are ready to block this nomination that could change Supreme Court for decades to come.

During the nomination Trump said  “Judge Gorsuch has outstanding legal skills, a brilliant mind, tremendous discipline and has earned bipartisan support”

Timeline

2006: His first book, The Future of Assisted Suicide and Euthanasia, was published by Princeton University Press in July 2006.
2006: Gorsuch was confirmed just over two months later on July 20, 2006 by voice vote in the U.S. Senate.
2016: He is also a co-author of The Law of Judicial Precedent, published by Thomson West in 2016.
2016: In September 2016, Gorsuch and his circuit colleague Timothy Tymkovich were named as possible nominees to the Supreme Court of the United States by president-elect of the United States Donald Trump.
